The meeting, which was held at PEIE’s head office, was chaired by Ayman Al Hasani, Chairman of Opex Organising Committee.
The meeting discussed the provision of facilities, information and data regarding the upcoming destination of the exhibition that shall be presented to the Omani firms. Additionally, tender envelopes on the organisation of the exhibition were opened during the meeting.
The committee informed that a delegation representing the committee’s members will be visiting the venue of the exhibition in Kenya to get acquainted with the procedures, where they will meet concerned officials and organising companies.

It should be noted that the destination of the exhibition is selected according to several criteria including the results of the study prepared on the proposed market, size of the consumer market, competitiveness of the products, prices, shipping and financial system of the country, as well as views of the participating Omani businessmen and exporters.
